Carbon Steel A105 Forged Fittings consist mainly of carbon, along with traces of manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. The usual composition is 0.35% carbon, 0.60-0.90% manganese, and traces of other elements. These fittings have very good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 485-620 MPa, yield strength of 250 MPa, and elongation of 20-25%. The material is extremely tough, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand high pressures and temperatures and is thus suited for extreme use in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.
