The Carbon Steel F46 Forged Fittings are made up of a well-balanced mix of carbon (0.20–0.30%), manganese (0.60–1.00%), silicon (≤0.35%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), and sulfur (≤0.040%). This thoughtful composition gives them impressive strength, ductility, and impact resistance. These fittings boast a tensile strength ranging from 415 to 585 MPa and a yield strength of about 240 MPa, making them capable of handling high pressure.
