S890QL plates and sheets are high-strength structural steel, tempered, and quenched with excellent weldability and toughness. They have a composition of material including low carbon (≤0.2%), manganese (≤1.7%), silicon (≤0.8%), chromium (≤1.5%), nickel (≤2.0%), molybdenum (≤0.7%), and boron (≤0.005%) with high strength and durability. Their mechanical properties range from a minimum of 890 MPa yield strength, tensile strength of 940–1100 MPa, and outstanding impact resistance at low temperatures. With excellent toughness and good formability, S890QL steel plates are suitable for heavy-duty use in construction, mining, and engineering sectors.
